With degrees in both Broadcast Journalism & Psychology, Eunice worked in advertising and marketing as an Account Executive for seven years and also as an IT Exec recruiter back in the late 90s when private companies were going public. in the dot com bubble era. After much consideration and heartfelt contemplation, she decided to leave corporate America to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a makeup artist. She recalls that passion from a very young age, she was fascinated and shocked by this profession, after seeing Boy George of Culture Club on a cover of a Pop magazine. As a little girl, she practiced making over models with colored markers in the pages of international fashion magazines and real gigs in college.
Eunice has been in the cosmetic industry for over twenty five years, and she has been giving men and women makeovers for television, film, print, and fashion; this includes editorial work on models from top talent agencies: Kim Dawson Agency, The Campbell Agency, and The Clutts Agency, just to name a few. She has also worked on the set of major network TV stations including ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX, and has provided her expertise for the shows Lone Star, CHASE, The Good Guys, Good Christian Bitches (GCB), and episodes of Dallas.
In 2010, she started her own business specializing in bridal makeup which she caters towards, but does not limit to, Asian women. Her work has been published in D Weddings, Wed Society North Texas (formerly known as Brides of North Texas), Modern Luxury Dallas Brides, and Modern Luxury Houston Brides. Aside from her busy wedding schedule, Eunice also does commercial makeup for national and local clients that include: The Container Store, The Campbell’s Soups, Neiman Marcus, Banana Republic, Stanley Korshak, Haggar Clothing, Target, JC Penney, Star Alliance, and Dallas Market Center for TV. In addition, she provides her services for print and online ads and also works with the top creative directors and photographers in the nation.
Eunice gained her retail artistry experience as a resident artist for Bobbi Brown, CHANEL, Clinique, Dior, Estee Lauder, Laura Mercier, and NARS, and she also trained under both the late creative director of Estee Lauder and Hollywood celebrity makeup artist Paul Starr during her years at Neiman Marcus. With her amazing artistic and technical skills, as well as her knowledge and understanding of color theory, Eunice can transform faces and enhance one’s natural beauty by concentrating on and accentuating their best features.
After her completion of an extensive six-month course at Christian Chauveau Technical School of Artistic Makeup, a French institution originating from Paris, Eunice deservedly earned a professional makeup artist certification and is also a Texas Licensed Cosmetologist.
